Refund policy
This policy applies to purchases made from Valtera Living.
Australian Consumer Law
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. If a product is faulty, damaged, not as described, or does not meet applicable consumer guarantees, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, refund, or other remedy depending on the circumstances.
Damaged, Faulty, or Incorrect Items
Please inspect your order when it arrives and contact us as soon as reasonably possible if the item is damaged, faulty, incorrect, or not as described.
To help us review the issue, please include:
- your order number
- a description of the issue
- photos or videos of the product, packaging, and any visible damage where applicable
After reviewing the issue, we will let you know the next steps. Depending on the circumstances, this may include a replacement, refund, or another appropriate remedy.
Change of Mind Returns
We do not automatically accept returns for change of mind.
Change of mind includes situations where you no longer want the item, ordered the wrong item, found a cheaper alternative, or changed your preference after purchase.
We may approve a change-of-mind return at our discretion, provided the item is unused, in original condition, and in its original packaging. If approved, return shipping costs are generally the customer’s responsibility unless otherwise agreed.
Items That Cannot Be Returned
Unless required by law, returns may not be accepted for:
- used or damaged items caused by misuse
- items not in original condition or packaging
- items returned without prior approval
- items affected by normal wear and tear
- items where the issue was caused by incorrect use, installation, or handling
Return Process
Please contact us before sending any item back. We will provide return instructions if a return is approved.
Items sent back without prior approval may not be accepted.
Refunds
If a refund is approved, it will be processed to the original payment method where possible. Please allow time for your bank, card provider, Shopify Payments, PayPal, or other payment provider to process the refund.
Shipping Costs
Original shipping costs are generally non-refundable unless the return relates to a faulty, damaged, incorrect, or not-as-described item, or where required by law.
Return shipping costs may be the customer’s responsibility for approved change-of-mind returns.
